Meet Alan, our beautiful and bright-eyed Border Collie pup with a heart full of love and energy. Alan is looking for a new home where he can thrive and be cared for with the attention he deserves.
🧠 Health Information
Alan has been diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy, a condition that has caused several seizures since he was 6 months old. Our vet recommends starting him on medication to help manage this. With the right care, many dogs with epilepsy live full and happy lives. We’re heartbroken to part with him, but due to recent life changes, we’re unable to provide the consistent care he needs.
He is up to date on all vaccinations as well as receives monthly flea and worming treatment.
🐶 Personality & Behaviour
- Good with children. He is gentle, playful, and affectionate (we're more cautious following a seizure)
- Loves other dogs. He gets very excited and eager to play
- Curious about cats. He does like to chase ours but isn’t aggressive
- Full of typical Collie energy. He is intelligent, active, and loves stimulation
