We urge you to be wary of "individual or breeder" accounts, as some may be involved in illegal imports or puppy mills. Any responsible breeder will be licensed. A common myth is that a license isn’t needed for breeding fewer than three litters, but this is incorrect; our council requires a license even if only one puppy is sold. Purchasing from an unlicensed breeder leaves you without safeguards if issues arise. As a Council Licensed Breeder, you benefit from consumer protection under the Sale of Goods Act. Licensed breeders are subject to regular checks by Trading Standards. For your safety and that of your new puppy, make sure to buy from a licensed source.
As a breeder, I’ve invested extra effort into my education, completing training in canine pregnancy, whelping, nutrition, and first aid, complemented by over 15 years of hands-on experience. We take pride in the health and quality of our puppies.
Both parents have undergone extensive health testing. Our puppies are expected to weigh between 15-17 kg and stand around 16-17 inches tall—significantly smaller than a typical bernedoodle, which can exceed 50 kg, ensuring your puppy comes from exceptionally healthy lineage.
ABOUT MUM, Nancy, is a kennel club registered standard poodle at 22 inches tall and 20 kg. She has been DNA tested and is clear of several hereditary conditions, including Degenerative Myelopathy, Von Willebrand Disease, Progressive retinal atrophy, Neonatal encephalopathy, PRA rod 4 and Macrothrombocytopenia.. Her health scores are impressive: hip scored at 3/3 (well below the breed average) and elbow scored at 0/0 (the best possible result).
ABOUT DAD, Yogi-Bear, is a miniature bernedoodle we imported from the States; he stands 16.5 inches tall and weighs 12.5 kg. He boasts a hip score of 4/4 and an elbow score of 0/0, and he has cleared DNA tests for over 260 hereditary diseases—far too many to list!
Your future puppy will be born in our family home, receiving constant care and attention, never left alone. They will be familiar with the busyness of family life and will be handled daily by both adults and children. We do everything possible to ensure they have the best start in life.
Each puppy will be:
