Pretty pair of black shetlands. The gelding is 6yo and the mare is 8yo.
I bought them as a project for the children over the summer holiday but it just never quite happened.
The mare has been bitted and had tack on. I really don't think that it would take much to get her backed. She is really sociable and will come running when she sees you.
The gelding will need more work if you're wanting to back him. He can take some persuasion to catch but once you've got him he is very sweet although he would benefit from some further handling. Again, we've just not had the chance that I'd hoped.
They are currently both living out. Not bothered at all by dogs, chickens and machinery. Both travel very well.
