The birds:
They're both males!
1 pineapple greencheek 🧡 -Pico
1 turqouise greencheek đź’™ -Miso
I will also send you off with everything I have, including the rest of their food (I've run out of pellets and I'm afraid I can't get anymore soon), toys, treats and their cage which is quite large. You may notice the cage has a gap that I've filled, I'll explain further if interested.
Both born around 2024 spring or summer, I honestly forgot but 2024 for sure. They're very friendly and love to play around. They love to train but I'm a bit lazy at times.
They may have a bit of a little hard at times but I promise you they don't mean it maliciously.
They're totally accustomed to loud noises, little family birds. They have a vegetable and pellet diet (this is what they should be eating to those who thinks birds are only fed seeds).
They love baths, wether water bottle spray, tap or a bird bath.
Pico is a bit skittish, isn't very fond of hands hovering over his back but he will fly to you and mostly your head. Miso is more brave, stupidly so, he likes to harass and attack my family's cat. They're also very attatched to eachother so please don't seperate them.
Please do not bring them outside like I did‼️ I only do it occasionally, my garden has no predators, I'm always supervising, I know them well, at least get to know them first. They are not completely free flight trained, in fact miso is a weak flier.
Why i have to get rid of my boys:
I'm only 15. Brought them, housed them and fed them with my own money.
But my parents hate them. Keeps going "get this through your thick head yeah, I hate your birds! I only let you keep them because I love you blah blah blah" then they keep threatening to kick me out the house along with my birds, threaten to kill them multiple times and throw them outside.
Of course they never had but I'm getting sick of it. And I hate to do this because I love them so much. It's a shame but I hope the next family they go to will be better.
