Description
🐾 Adoption – Meet Zu 🐾
With a heavy but hopeful heart, I’m looking for a loving and stable home for Zu, my loyal companion of three years, due to an upcoming move to another country.
Zu is a Belgian Shepherd mixed with Greyhound, currently 3 years old (turning 4 on August 15th). He is a big, strong, and very well-behaved dog with a gentle soul and a protective nature.
🟢 Temperament & Personality
• Extremely friendly and affectionate
• No aggressive behavior at all
• Very people-oriented and loves being around his family
• Naturally protective — a true guard dog who will keep your home safe
• Slightly cautious at first with strangers, which is normal for a guardian breed
🐱 Other Animals & Kids
• Grew up with a cat, so he is cat-friendly
• He hasn’t lived with children, so I can’t say for sure how he behaves with them, but he has never shown aggression and has a calm, balanced personality
🎓 Training & Obedience
• Very well trained and highly obedient
• Knows many commands in Portuguese
• I am more than happy to teach the new family all the commands and how to approach and communicate with him properly
🥩 Diet & Care
• Raised on a healthy, varied diet
• Eats dry and wet food, raw meat (including raw chicken bones), fruits, and some vegetables
• Proper nutrition has always been a priority for him
🏃 Exercise Needs
• High-energy dog due to his Greyhound and Shepherd mix
• Needs daily exercise and space to run
• Ideal for an active person or family with a yard or access to open areas
🧳 What Zu Comes With
The adoption fee listed is not a “price for Zu ”, but to ensure continuity and comfort for him. Zoo will come with all his personal belongings, including:
• Professional fur vacuum/hoover for grooming and shedding control
• Nail cutter
• Muzzle (mouth nozzle) used responsibly in public for comfort and safety
• Raised food and water bowls suitable for large dogs
• A large collection of grooming items, toys, and accessories
• Familiar objects he has grown up with and already knows how to use, helping him adapt smoothly to his new home
🏡 The Home I’m Looking For:
Zu is not “just a dog” — he’s a family dog who grew up with love, attention, and stability. I’m looking for a serious, responsible family or individual, with a stable environment and enough time, space, and affection to give him the life he deserves and specially, big dog experience person.
This decision is incredibly difficult, and my priority is Zu happiness and safety above all else.
If you believe you can offer Zu a loving, permanent home and treat him as family, please get in touch.
❤️ Zu deserves nothing less than a forever home.
