Description

Eric is a beautiful, cuddle monster who loves nothing more than to settle down on the couch and watch TV. He is a typical Daxie who will bark at the postman and the hoover but soon loses interest. He currently lives with 2 other elderly dogs but not suitable for living with cats. He can be left along but we usually take him with us when we go out if possible. He is fully toilet trained with no accidents. This is a heartbreaking sale for us but I have been diagnosed with a debilitating illness which prevents us from giving Eric the time he needs for walks (although we can still manage the cuddle time). Looking for a loving home who can give Eric all the walks and time that he deserves.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
