Description
A horse that means a lot more to me than the average ‘sales horse’ - please take them time to read his advert before you enquire
Remy is the most beautiful 16hh, 10yo , tb gelding
Clean limbed , fat and shiny, up to date with everything, fit and in full work. Loads and travels well, lives in or out , perfect to bath , shoe, clip etc - an absolute baby in the stable. Super with kids etc
Remy came to me a problem solving livery. This was due to having a buck in canter. Was nothing horrendous but not something his owner felt she could see through with him. Remy had a kissing spine operation over a year ago, was rehabbed professionally and brought back into work real slowly and correctly. During this time he and his owner enjoyed lots of hacking together where they didn’t have this issue, it was solely in the school
Fast forward him coming to me - the first day we had a fair bit of bucking in canter. I just pushed through with him. He was then with me a further two and a half weeks where he never ever did this again. Including having my yard girls ride regularly under my instruction.
I took him to an arena hire where he jumped everything and loved it!! Wasn’t bothered about any fillers etc, very careful and correct. He’d be a super little jumper for someone wanting to have some fun! He is also extremely well schooled. Goes in a lovely outline and would do a dressage test tomorrow. He is never strong or silly , Infact, quite the opposite!! He’s very lazy when he knows he can be.
Remy returned home to owner and went back to old ways which was a real shame. His owner has made the extremely difficult decision to part ways with him and feels the damage between them is done and they are just not doing each other any justice. This is extremely sad and his owner has lost a hell of a lot of money but the home is so important to her.
He’s recently returned to me and not been a problem with myself riding at all. Has however tried it in with others , again, this is in the school only.
Attended many fun rides with previous owner and been loved and spoilt totally, wanted for absolutely nothing
He would suit someone very confident who takes no messing but is equally very kind and consistent. He’s such a fun chap who does love to work. Why he misbehaves with certain riders I just don’t know. I think he would be better having a fresh start in a 1-1 home with a rider who’s knowledgeable and confident.
He’s a super kind and special horse , perhaps pain memory , perhaps cheeky , perhaps misunderstood …. I can’t put my finger on exactly but I can confidently assure you this horse has the kindest heart and is certainly not dangerous
Open to any inspection
