Description

I will not answer to anyone I feel isn’t genuine. If you don’t get a reply, it means that your intentions aren’t what I’m looking for Buddy. I took Buddy into my care through a village community group saying a dog had been tied up to a tree and abandoned. As an experienced dog handler, I put him in my car and into our home ever since as the owners did not come forward and he has been living with me ever since. I already have 4 dogs (one mastiff, 3 Labradors) We’ve completely fallen in love with Buddy- he is good on lead, sits, lays, gives paw and absolutely adores children. He is not always good with other dogs. He tries to be dominant and has drawn blood over food. My eldest girl is at the end of her life fighting with cancer and as Buddy has matured over the last few months, is proving difficult to control and train along with all my other dogs. He has shown aggression to cats and my rabbit. It’s important to note that he has never shown any aggression with my young children but he does go into protection mode, meaning someone may be at risk if he wants to protect kids. He is just too much for me at the moment, and he needs a loving, stimulating, active new home. He chews absolutely everything, and being caged is the only thing that works when I have to go somewhere I can’t take him or won’t allow. He goes with me everywhere, because I think he has separation anxiety as a result of the way he was left by his previous owner. And this is the best solution I can think of in my situation and need. I will personally want to check out where buddy will be living and who’s in the family. He ideally needs to be with no other dogs or animals but willing to discuss 1 other dog in the household. Due to his issues, this is the reason I am not sending him to a rescue centre. I am very open to discussion but please do not waste my time. Please also let me know if there are options to foster him etc, as I’m open to that too, to ensure he has the best chance in life. I live for my dogs, and he deserves a happy ending.
