ROWAN is a 14 month old, medium sized dog (springer spaniel size - he’s 16kg). If we had to guess, he has some hound in his mix and probably some dachshund. He could live with other dogs, but could also be the only dog in the house. Can live with children over 10 years old.
Rowan is a beautiful fox red colour. He is athletic and loves a good run around. His joyful energy is contagious, and all those who spend time with him fall in love with him. He is just a fabulous boy!
Since being in our care, he has been to a car boot sale attended by Amicii, and just took it all in his stride. So far, he’s been very comfortable in new places and with meeting lots of new people! One of the things we find very sweet about him is that he sits down voluntarily when you stroke him.
Rowan is a confident boy who will just enjoy living his life with you. As he is a bit bouncy, we think that children aged 10 years plus would be best in his home. However, we would be happy to discuss a home that didn’t quite meet this preference (robust dog-savvy children only). Just send in an application and tell us why your family would be right for him.
We think this super boy would be fine as an only dog within the household, but as he gets on so well with other dogs, we’re sure he’d love a playmate.
As he is still a young dog, he will require more training. However he LOVES treats, and so he is learning very quickly. An active household would really ignite the potential of this athletic boy. We even think he’d really enjoy having a running partner.
Rowan is fully vaccinated, microchipped and vet health-checked.
