For sale we have a choice of 6 pure bred Lavender Araucana eggs or 6 Olive Egger eggs (Lavender Araucana x Burford Brown).
The Araucana rooster and hens are calm, friendly birds and not flighty as can be the case with this breed. The Burfords are equally friendly as you'd expect and are big healthy birds that reliably lay up to 300 eggs per year.
All blue eggs come from pure bred Lavender Araucana hens fertilised by a Lavender Araucana rooster. The dark brown eggs come from Burford Brown or Welsummer hens and have been fertilised by the same Araucana rooster, meaning any hens you hatch will lay olive green eggs.
Price includes UK mainland delivery.
Hatch rates cannot be guaranteed due to postal service and variation in incubation methods. We are currently raising chicks from this group and had an excellent hatch rate with a broody hen.
