Caqui is a gorgeous old male Pointer looking for a home, his passport says his date of birth is 2/03/2007 which makes him 18 years old – we can’t quite believe he is that old, maybe 13 or 14 is nearer the mark.
Caqui is in Uk foster and is doing so well. He loves humans and will happily potter around with you all day. He is good with the other dogs, but fairly independent, so we think he would suit a home with dogs or as an only dog. His foster mum describes him as a 10/10 dog – a complete star with the sweetest nature. Caqui is looking for a home without stairs as this is the only thing that troubles his old legs.
So how does such a gorgeous old Pointer end up in rescue? Caqui was given up because a landlady refused his owner to allow to keep a dog in the apartment. He had been adopted from a spanish dog pound seven years ago but sadly his owner could no longer find a suitable apartment in the city that would allow a dog, and he had to go, and so he was given up for rehoming.
So far Caqui has got on well with people, dogs and cats. He is an absolute sweetheart and just needs a comfy home, which is easy for an older dog. Unlike so many of our dogs he is already used to living in a home and is such an affectionate boy.
