Very reluctantly looking for a loving family for our beloved Dachshund Lennie

This Handsome boy is Lennie, He is needing a loving home who can give him the time he needs to train him well. We had a litter of puppies in Feb 2024 and kept Lennie from the litter so have owned him 23 Months. However we struggle to train him and his mum separately due to separation anxiety and mum's behaviour has recently gotten worse due to her protective nature
We are looking for a home who can give him the 1:1 time he deserves and needs. He still has his bouncy puppy like behaviour, he is strong on lead and very occasionally still has the odd accident in the house.
He is very playful and loves to play with soft toys. He's been brought up with his mum, a cat and 2 children age 12 and 8 so he's great with children and other animals. He can have sudden bursts of energy and do zoomies all over the house. He needs a home where someone will be home all day or not out for long periods of time. We leave him no more than 5 hours at a time.
Adopting Lennie is not something to take on lightly, he needs full commitment and a lot of work and patience to allow him to blossom.
Lennie is toilet trained but has the very occasional accident in the house and sleeps well over night in his crate from 10pm until 7am.
We advise sensible and slow introductions to family members and other pets.
