Three female rats looking for a loving home – cage and accessories included
We are sadly looking to rehome our three lovely female rats, Remy, Pepper and Olive, due to allergies within the family. This is a very reluctant decision, and if it weren’t for my daughter’s allergies, we would absolutely be keeping them.
The girls were born around February 2026 and were adopted from Pets at Home in July 2026. They were adoption rats as Pets at Home had needed to keep a group back for a little longer after a pregnancy was discovered within the original group, to ensure that none of the other rats were also pregnant.
They each have their own individual personalities:
🐀 Remy (grey and white) – A lovely girl who is usually the first to come to the front of the cage when you enter the room. She’s always hopeful that you’re bringing her a tasty snack or treat!
🐀 Pepper (black and white, with a thin black stripe down her back) – The boss of the group! She’s very much the one in charge and has a cheeky, confident little personality. She’s the one you’ll see in the photos standing up, holding onto the cage bars and peering out.
🐀 Olive (black and white, with a larger amount of black down her back) – A quieter, more reserved girl who likes to find a cosy hiding spot, often tucked underneath her bath mat. She enjoys gentle strokes and little tickles on her back.
Handling and temperament
The girls have been a little slower to build confidence with handling, possibly because they spent longer in the pet shop before being adopted. We’ve taken things at their own pace and have reached the point where they will happily come onto your hand and allow gentle strokes. However, they aren’t yet comfortable with being picked up, so they would benefit from a patient owner who is happy to continue building their trust and confidence.
Home and everything included
We are happy to include their cage and all their current accessories, including:
* Their cage
* Water bottles
* Food bowls
* Toys and cage accessories
* Their current food (open bag)
* Paper pellet litter (open bag)
Everything can go together, giving their new owner a great starting setup.
Important – must stay together
We are looking for a home for all three girls together. They have lived together as a group, and we are not willing to separate them.
We would love to find them a patient, loving home with someone who can give them the time, attention and care they deserve. Finding the right home for them is much more important to us than simply finding them a new owner.
