Description
Hey! I have, through no fault of her own, my African grey for sale. She is a beautiful bird and in lovely condition. She does not pluck her feathers. She does however have a small injury currently to face as she decided to fly into the window. This is healing well and not infected. She will be fine.
I haven't had her for very long - I've had her around a month. She was something my ex partner wanted for a very long time. He has now left me and I can't give her the time and attention anymore as I have young children.
She is still in a settling in period with me so I can't tell you much about her. She was sold to me as a talking bird. I have heard her say hello and come on but only when she thinks I'm not listening. She makes loads of different whistles and noises. She does step up but this has taken time for her to gain trust.
She is allowed out her cage and will generally just sit on her open door watching everyone. I have a dog and babies and she's never been bothered by the noise they make. What does bother her though is fast movements near her cage.
We bought her as a fully tame bird. And this is where I'd love to say she's been fully tame with us. She has bite but not hard, never broken the skin but again it's still early days for her being here. She doesn't fly to you and bite you so it's not like she's attacking if that makes sense, it's when she doesn't want something like you hand in her cage.
I want to be honest because I want a good home for her. She watches everything, right little character. Swings upside down in her cage and plays with her toys. I'm sad to see her go but if I want her to have a good quality of life she needs a good home.
She will come with her cage, a smaller carry cage, toys and food.
I paid 2000 for her and then I've bought her a bigger cage. I know I probably over paid for her looking back. I just want some of that money back so I can look forward and start a new life with my children.
Any questions please ask, however I might not know the answer from my personal experience but I do know what her previous owner told me.
