7 month old rare lilac merle miniature Jack Russell dog pup.
I originally bought Hank to be a working dog (ratter) and potential stud dog. Unfortunately, he does not having a ratting bone in his body. He is an absolute sweetheart, and would much rather cuddle on the sofa than be outside working. He doesn't really like riding on the quad bike, or being out on the farm in the mud. He prefers to be clean, dry, and getting love and cuddles.
Hank would suit a loving family home. He is excellent with children, submissive to other dogs, and playful but respectful of cats. He is respectful of horses, livestock, and poultry.
He would also suit a stud home. He has excellent conformation, brilliant bloodlines, health tested parentage, the kindest temperament, and boasts a rare and highly sought after colour - he has the ability to produce a rainbow of puppies, including black, chocolate, blue, lilac, blue merle, red merle, slate merle, lilac merle, and possibly more. Unfortunately I just don't have any bitches for him as my only girl is now getting spayed for health reasons, and as a result I will no longer be breeding.
Hank is fully up to date with vaccinations, flea treatment, wormers, etc. He has been vet checked and his medical records can be provided. He is microchipped and ownership will be transferred appropriately.
Hank can live indoors or out. He is currently in our barn kennels with our other working dogs, but was previously inside and toilet trained, so with some gentle reminding he will no doubt be excellent in the house again. His recall is great. He walks happily on and off lead with me and never leaves my side. He is a little timid with new people, but soon comes around with some loves and fuss. I just want him to be with someone who can make the most of him, and be somewhere where he can have a purpose - whether producing wonderful pups, or being someone's best friend. We think a lot of him and don't want him being passed from pillar to post, hence his price (half of what I paid for him from the breeder - I'm not after money, just a good home, but I don't want to give him away for his safety).
