Mocha and Cappuccino are two male guinea pig brothers born in December 2025 who must be rehomed together as they are inseparable and get extremely anxious and distressed when apart. They are shy and skittish boys who have not had much handling and they do not like being picked up and will bite if startled or grabbed so they need a patient gentle owner willing to work with them at their own pace. They will happily come up to you in their home and take food and treats gently from your hand once they start to trust you and with time and consistency they can learn to be more comfortable around people they just need the right person. I have been able to hold and stroke both boys at one point in time, it’s the lack of handling recently that ruined the progress. I am rehoming them because my disability has worsened and I can no longer give them the daily attention space and patience they deserve and this is a very difficult decision but I want what is best for them. Both are in excellent health they have never been unwell and my cousin is a vet who checks them over regularly and they are not neutered. Their wooden and wire run is free to take but needs repairs with quite a few missing screws and the wire top needs reattaching to the frame and I can send pictures and videos of it and they will also go with any leftover hay food bedding and supplies I have at the time of rehoming. The rehoming fee is twenty pounds for the pair and this is non refundable this is simply to help ensure they are going to a serious committed home and to cover some of the costs of their remaining supplies I am not looking to make a profit this is purely to help filter out time wasters. They need an indoor home only as they have always lived indoors and I will not rehome them outdoors and please no hutches they need a spacious indoor setup because hutches do not provide enough room for guinea pigs and are cruel. Their new home must be fully set up and ready before collection unless you are taking the run I have and I would appreciate a short video showing their new space and I would also appreciate you showing your face for a few seconds that way I can be sure it is genuine and not just something from the internet. Most of all I am looking for someone patient who understands they need time and gentle handling to settle in and I would prefer someone with experience with guinea pigs and most importantly they must stay together with no exceptions.
