I am a breeder of bengals with over 15 years of experience. I am registered with TICA, my cattery name is "Dottycat". We only have occasional litters and we never have more than one litter at a time. We are a very small cattery and I adore spending time with our cats who are part of our family. These beautiful little kittens' Mum is called "Tatty" "Dottycat Take my Time" and their father is "WildandBeauty Dino".
They all have really lovely markings and a beautiful clarity to their coat which will remain as they mature unlike some other kittens. They have bright white spotted tummies which are quite rare in bengals - ( it is a difficult trait to retain in breeding bengals, and our cattery is known for it). They are all very confident in their personalities and very loving. They are definitely lap cats! They really are totally adorable. They have had the best start to life being fully integrated into the home and being given the very best food and all the trimmings. We know each of them individually so it will be sad to see them go - but it gives us great pleasure to hear about how loved they are in their new homes and to see occasional updates. I take pride in providing families with a pet who will immediately settle into a new home and give many years of enjoyment, rather than a kitten that will hide under the bed for 3 weeks. But because we know these little kittens all individually it is very important to us to know a little about you if you decide to enquire about our kittens.
The kittens will have had a complete course of vaccinations and their microchip. They will have been given preventative worm and flea treatment. They are litter trained. The price includes the price of spay/neuter.
Our adult cats are DNA tested, and like other responsible breeders we regularly screen their hearts to ensure there is no sign of HCM which can be very common in some pedigree lines of bengals. This requires a large financial investment but we believe it is worth it in order to have peace of mind and confidence in our kittens. If you are looking for a bengal kitten I urge you to support breeders like me who health screen (and can show proof of this.) - Doing so will not only ensure you end up with a genuine bengal kitten who will live for many years, but it will also support those breeders who are taking responsibility and who are breeding for the love and betterment of the breed rather than others who are solely in it for financial gain. A cheaper kitten may cost less in the short term but much more in the long term.
