Description

I am sadly rehoming my beautiful boy Toulouse. After losing my female bunny a few months ago, he seemed to be coping fine but a recent spell of not eating has left me worried for his mental wellbeing living without a partner. After a vet check , it was confirmed there was no medical reason for him not eating and he was doing this out of sadness/ protest so, as devastated as I am, I feel it is only best for him to be rehomed to someone who either has another bunny looking for a friend, or would be willing to bond him with another rabbit. I no longer have the space to keep a second bunny separate during a bonding process, or anywhere to keep this second bunny if the bonding did not work out, so it is just not an option to attempt to bond him with another friend here. He is super friendly and it took him less than a month to bond with my female bunny. He is super affectionate and energetic and will be a joy to anyone who can give him the love he deserves. He is an indoor fully litter trained rabbit who lives in my bedroom so needs to go somewhere where the living conditions would be the same or similar, I will not rehome him to be put in a hutch. He is a large rabbit weighing in at 3 1/2 kilos so requires a fair amount of space and outdoor access as he is used to getting time to run around in the garden almost every day. I have not taken this decision lightly and i am only rehoming him as I feel it is what he needs, so I will not make a hasty decision with who I rehome him to, please respect this, he is like my child and I am so sad to see him go. I will only be rehoming him to someone who intends on bonding him with a friend. I don’t want any money for him, I just want him to go to someone who deserves him and can give him as much love as I have , while also introducing him to a new friend. His vaccinations are up to date until beginning of next year, he is neutered, fully litter trained, he has never chewed any furniture.
