Let us introduce Anne.
Anne, sister to Myla, is now in foster in East Yorkshire.
Sweet-natured Anne is a beautiful Romanian rescue looking for a calm, patient forever home. She’s clean in the house and happy to be left alone for 2–3 hours — a well-mannered companion with lots of potential.
🐶 Good with Other Dogs
Anne gets along wonderfully with the resident small Jack Russell Terrier, as well as two visiting dogs through doggie daycare (all females). She would thrive in a home with another confident, playful dog to help her continue building trust and confidence.
👧 Great with Teens
She enjoys the company of her foster’s teenage grandchildren and is playful and excited when they’re around.
🐾 Still Learning
Due to her past, Anne is understandably cautious around new people and unfamiliar situations. While she isn’t quite at the cuddle-on-the-sofa stage yet, she’s making steady progress every day. Lead training is ongoing, and her foster is gently guiding her toward feeling more secure on walks.
🐱 Not Cat Tested
Anne hasn’t been tested with cats, so a cat-free home is preferred at this stage.
🏡 Ideal Home
Anne would do best in a calm, patient home with:
• A confident, friendly dog to support her development
• Older children or teenagers who understand gentle boundaries
• An adopter committed to gentle training and continued socialisation

History
Anne was living in one of the worst private shelters we have ever seen. She was taken from the kill shelter with the rest of her litter and then left here. The shelter offered the dogs no socialisation or enrichment. No heating in the winter and no respite from the heat in the summer. They were left with nothing to live for. After meeting them we made a commitment to them and now we are so happy that Myla and her sister Anne are finally here.
Anne comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.
