Bella is a 2 year old Akita female looking for her forever family!
I was asked to help find Bella a forever home. Unfortunately Bella was abandoned by her owner and left with his father who didn’t have time for her. Bella is a really sweet girl, she loves cuddles and attention and will sit for ages to be brushed. Bella is an OUTSIDE dog. She has lived outside all her life.
I tried to bring Bella into my home and she wasn’t happy. Unfortunately my dog refuses to get on with her. ( she’s a spoilt brat that throws her tantrums and don’t want to share) so I cannot keep Bella.
I don’t like her being outdoors with this awful weather but I have no other place for her to go. She has her kennel that will come with her. She could live indoors as long as it isn’t too hot etc.
Bella is amazing with other dogs, people, children and babies. She’s fantastic with horses and farm animals. She is a high energy dog, she needs time patience training and exercise. This dog will not just go to anyone.
She must go to someone experienced with her breed or similar breed.
Absolutely no breeders or time wasters.
She does pull on a lead, I don’t think she was really walked. Sort of outside left to her own devices. She don’t like being alone, who does? She had a horse for company previously. A sad story really. But I took her home ( and the horse) and promised to find her a loving home. She’s good in the car, and does come to call, she will sit. But that’s about as far as her training goes ( I’ve taught her this) she is house trained. Had no accidents inside! She isn’t keen on a bath, but she will tolerate it.
She does love to have a fuss made of her!
Please no time wasters. Id like it if she could stay local to Taunton but if not
That’s fine. I will want to stay in contact, have updates and know exactly where she is going. If my girl would get on with her and I actually had the time for her I’d keep her, but she deserves way more than I can give for her at this time. I’m flat out with horses in the winter and it’s hard work having to keep the dogs separated ( because my girl is a cow bag)
