This handsome 4-year-old Collie mix has the biggest heart and the gentlest soul. 💛
After a tough start, Nero is finally learning what love feels like — and now he’s ready to find his forever home.
🐾 About Nero:
Nero is still finding his paws in the world. He’s been working hard on his house and lead training, and after just six weeks, he proudly went on his very first proper walk! He doesn’t have recall just yet, but with patience and positivity, this clever boy will keep learning every day.
He adores the company of female dogs and could happily live with one (or more!) who can show him the ropes. Nero also has the potential to live with a dog-savvy cat, as long as introductions are slow and supervised — he might give chase if they run, but he’s quick to settle when guided.
🍗 His Favourite Things:
Nero loves his food, enjoys the occasional toy, and once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll happily roll over for cuddles and belly rubs. He can be excitable and a little vocal at times, but his sweet nature always shines through once he relaxes.
👦 Home Requirements:
Nero hasn’t been tested with children, so we feel he’d be happiest in an adult-only home or one with dog-experienced teens. Most importantly, he needs a calm, loving family who will give him the time and reassurance he deserves.
💖 Nero is such a loving boy who has come so far already. With the right people by his side, his confidence will only continue to grow. He truly deserves a home to call his own — one filled with patience, kindness, and love.
