This is Oreo, a 9 month old Lurcher bitch who we are sadly having to rehome due to a change in circumstances. She's a much loved family pet who is used to living with 4 cats and small children ( age 5 plus ).
She's microchipped, fully vaccinated, and up to date with worm and flea treatment.
She is very good both on and off lead, though recall can be an issue at times when she's playing with other dogs.
She is very vocal when playing, which can cause a few issues with other owners who aren't used to the noise. We generally explain this is a lurcher breed thing and is just her playing, Oreo has never once turned aggressive to another dog, nor hurt one.
She loves the woods and the beach, along with the sofa / bed, and although she will react to squirrels and deer, and have a good chase she's never hurt one nor caught one.
She's extremely loving, as per the breed, and will hopefully quickly settle into her new home.
She may need a bit of patience getting used to a new family, but that is to be expected. She is very intelligent and willing to please / learn, though can be stubborn at times ( especially if cow poo is involved! )
She will come with plenty of toys, her favourite blanket and food / treats.
