🐶 Rosa’s journey has been full of upheaval. Originally the cherished companion of an elderly owner who sadly passed away, she was taken in by relatives, and later rehomed again through friends. But long working hours, with no one at home for 10 - 12 hours a day, have meant Rosa has been left without the love and companionship she desperately needs.
🐶 Rosa is only around 3 years old, a tiny Pekingese cross (we guess so), and has already been through far too much for her young age. Rosa is the very definition of a companion dog – she loves being by her human’s side and struggles when left alone for too long. She now deserves a stable, loving forever home where she can finally put down roots.

💔 Rescue Story 💔
Rosa was the beloved dog of an elderly person who never left her alone. After her owner’s passing, she moved between relatives and friends, but none could give her the time and stability she needs. Rosa’s whole world is her human, and being left alone for long stretches has left her anxious and longing for company. Now in foster care in the East Midlands, she’s safe – but still waiting for her real forever family.
🐶 Rosa can be shy and nervous with new people at start. But eager to build trust and then she follows her person around like a shadow and adores being close. Her priority is always her human, and she can get jealous if she feels she has to share affection. For this reason, we believe she will thrive best as an only dog, where she can soak up all the love for herself.
🐶 Rosa is playful and active, but never overwhelming – just the right balance of fun and cuddles. She’s housetrained, good on the lead, and loves snuggling up close after a walk. Rosa has so much love to give, and her affectionate nature shines through in everything she does.

Rosa needs a family or individual who is home most of the time. She’s not a dog to be left for hours – she is truly a companion dog who thrives on human closeness. She would be perfect for someone who wants a loyal, loving little shadow by their side, whether pottering around the house, walking in the park, or cuddling on the sofa.
