🐶 ELLIE'S life turned upside down when her beloved owner passed away. Instead of being taken in by family, poor Ellie was heartlessly sent to be euthanised. Thankfully, she was rescued at the very last moment. However, the ordeal didn't end there — she found herself in a loud, overwhelming shelter with too many dogs, strange noises, and frightening surroundings. Despite everything, Ellie never showed aggression. She was simply scared, confused, and heartbroken. It’s clear that all this dear girl truly wants is someone to love and trust again.

🐶 ELLIE is an sweet and gentle dog. She is very human-oriented and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. In a new environment, she can be shy and nervous at first, often hiding behind her trusted person. But give her a little time, patience, and reassurance, and you will see the most loving and loyal companion blossom before your eyes.
With other dogs, ELLIE is cautious and does not immediately seek contact — she needs careful, slow introductions. With cats, she behaves beautifully, calmly ignoring them.
🐶 ELLIE walks nicely on the lead and is used to a three-times-a-day toileting schedule. At home, she can be left alone for longer periods without issue — she waits patiently and does not create any TROUBLE. After everything she's been through, Ellie will need a gentle introduction to grooming, especially nail trimming, as it clearly frightens her — likely due to poor past experiences.

🐶 ELLIE would thrive best in a calm, patient, and understanding adult home — either as the only pet or with another calm, respectful DOG. A quiet home, with a secure garden and kind-hearted owners willing to move at her pace, would be perfect. She could suit a home with calm, dog-savvy teenagers, but smaller children might be overwhelming for her delicate nature. Most importantly, Ellie needs someone who will love her enough to give her the time and space to fully settle and shine.
