Description

I am giving my cat up for adoption. Her name is Hanabi (pronounced Hanabee). My brother named it after an anime. I am rehoming her because of the fact that my brother has brought in other cats and she does not get along with them. This meant she has had to stay upstairs with me and the other cats are downstairs which is not ideal as she misses out on some room in the house to roam around. Her experience with the two other cats in the house has not been good as they have fought so I want her to go to a home where she is the only pet. I want a loving home for her where she has good amount of space for her to play or explore. I got her around September 2019. She must have been around 2 months old at the time so her date of birth is around July 2019 (estimate). She was vaccinated in the beginning but because she is mainly indoors she has not been to the vets for some time. Make sure if you let her outside to supervise her and make sure she is safe. I will book a vet check up for her as well as get her microchipped before ******************. She has been spayed. I have been feeding her IAMS fresh chicken (10kg pack from zoo plus) which she enjoys and is used to. One plate in the morning (around 7/8am) and one in the evening/night time (around 7/8pm). This is not a 100% strict routine but is usually the pattern I follow for her. She also enjoys wet food but I mainly give her dry food. She is a loving cat but is also quite independent. When she is comfortable with you then she will come up to you herself and want to be petted and stroked. When I pick her up she usually wants to come down within 10 seconds. She does love her freedom and is loving but not clingy. Sometimes she sits next to me and sometimes she lies on my chest when I’m lying down. She does not like the Hoover noise and hides from it. She dislikes loud noises (children should not be loud around her as she doesn’t like it). Also she can get overstimulated if many kids are around her trying to stroke her and not giving her adequate space. Do respect her space and she will love you back. Don’t force stroking her. She will give you signs when she is ready. She will be quite shy at first. She easily gets overstimulate if her belly is rubbed so do avoid this. She is a brilliant cat. I will miss her a lot.
