Description
Due to a change in circumstances, I am looking to rehome my German Shepherd mix to the right home.
He is a strong, energetic dog who will need an experienced owner with time for training, structure, and clear boundaries. He is not suitable for a home with children and should go to an adult-only household.
Since coming into our care, it’s become clear that he has behaviours that were not fully disclosed previously, particularly around boundaries and excitement, which makes him unsafe around young children. Because of this, we are prioritising his safety and the safety of others by finding him a more appropriate environment.
He would do best with:
Adults only
Someone experienced with large or working-breed dogs
Consistent training and routine
Secure outdoor space preferred
This is not his fault — he needs the right setup to succeed. I will be honest with potential adopters and am looking for someone committed to giving him the stability and training he deserves.
