This is Lola, my amazing 7 year old mix. Lola has been my best friend for years, she's a loving, fun, independent dog with a lot of terroir traits. Lola's favorite things are cuddling on the sofa, sunbathing, and exploring in the woods.
Sadly, my 10+ year relationship recently came to an end and it's become apparent that Lola isn't able to cope with having to stay on her own now that my ex is no longer available. Her newly developed speration anxiety is so bad that she's begun self harming and barking to the point that neighbours have complained. I've tried everything I can, including working with behaviourists, but it's clear Lola simply can't cope. Lola is fine coming to coffee shops and even to the office for meetings but my work requires regular travel into London and she's too frightened of trains and the tube to be able to come with me.
She needs a loving home where she has someone with her the majority of the time. She's truly little hassle during the day - though can't be trusted off lead in unfenced areas as she's known to chase squirrels and birds!
It would mean so much to me to know Lola is going to a home where she would be truly loved and taken care of. Sadly she can't live with cats. I don't know what she's like with children.
