π LOOKING FOR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT OR FOREVER HOME π
π¬π§ Hertfordshire (WD5)
π RBU, post-adoption support, and 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance provided upon adoption
πΆ Echo, previously known as Eva, is a gentle and bright small-sized girl, now 12-13 months old. Sheβs already spayed and fully grown β a lovely petite size with a big, loving heart. She arrived in the UK two months ago to what was meant to be her forever home, but sadly due to unexpected and unavoidable family circumstances, she now urgently needs a new home through no fault of her own. π’
π Highlights:
SIZE: Small (39 cm shoulder height / 8.5 kg)
SPAYED/NEUTERED: Yes
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Affectionate, Clever, Playful, Sensitive
DOGS: Lives well with other dogs at home, but barky to dogs on walks
CATS: Friendly β but a bit boisterous; needs confident cats
CHILDREN: Best with calm, dog-savvy children aged 8+
π Rescue Story:
πΆ Echo was rescued as a tiny one-month-old pup from a killing pound overseas, along with her siblings. She grew up in foster care and travelled to the UK filled with hope. Her original adopter loved her dearly, but due to a medical crisis in the family and hospitalisation, they can no longer provide the care and structure Echo needs.
π More About Echo:
πΆ Echo is loving, loyal, and very intelligent. Sheβs fully housetrained, sleeps through the night, and settles well when left alone for short periods (up to two hours so far). Indoors, sheβs playful and affectionate β cuddling on the sofa, enjoying toys, and following her humans closely.
She has a big personality in a small body β full of life and eager to learn. She adores mental stimulation and enrichment like snuffle mats, treat puzzles, lickimats, and is particularly obsessed with tennis balls!
However, outdoors Echo can be reactive β especially toward other dogs, most likely due to either luck of confidence (still not fully settled) or excitement. Dogs on the lead outside behave different thdn at home environment. Her family has been working gently on this, choosing quiet walking times and rewarding calm behaviour. She's not aggressive, but very overstimulated in busy environments. A quieter, semi-rural home would help her thrive, where she can enjoy the outdoors without so many triggers.
π‘ Ideal Family:
πΆ Echo needs a peaceful, understanding home, ideally with access to quieter walking routes. Sheβs best with calm, dog-savvy children (8+), as she can be a bit too boisterous for little ones.
π Echo has already faced so many changes in her young life, and yet her spirit is still full of hope. Sheβs loving, clever, and so ready to bond deeply with someone who truly sees her. With time, space, and patient guidance, Echo will be an incredible companion β loyal, funny, playful, and endlessly devoted.
If you believe in second chances and are ready to offer a calm, understanding home, Echo is ready to give you all the love in her heart.
β Health Information:
Echo is fully healthy. Spayed. Has all core vaccines done and is microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a laboratory test certificate).
