🐾 Playful 9-Month-Old New Zealand Huntaway Needs a Loving, Active Home 🐾
We’re looking for the perfect forever home for our beautiful 9-month-old New Zealand Huntaway boy. While we don’t have official papers, his breed is clear – both in looks and personality. He’s full of energy, incredibly affectionate, and thrives on exercise and companionship.
About Him:
🐶 Breed: New Zealand Huntaway (no papers)
🎂 Age: 9 months
🏠 Rescued at 4 months from an overcrowded flat
🚽 Fully house trained
🧠 Smart and highly trainable – already knows how to sit and has good recall
🐾 Great with other dogs, especially medium to large breeds (can be a bit boisterous for small dogs)
🐱 Lived with cats previously – cat-friendly
👧 Loves children – very patient and gentle with our 6-year-old daughter
🌳 Needs a large garden and would thrive on a farm or in a rural setting
🐕 Loves long walks, running in open fields, and sunbathing in the garden
He currently lives with our two small rescue dogs and has formed a bond with them, but his play style suits larger dogs better. He’s happiest when he’s outside, running free or playing with doggy friends.
We absolutely adore him, but sadly, we can’t give him the level of exercise and attention he needs. This decision hasn’t been easy, but we want what’s best for him – a home where he can thrive physically and mentally.
The ideal home would have:
A secure, spacious garden
Active owners who can give him plenty of daily exercise
Other friendly dogs to play with (optional but a bonus)
Time and patience to continue his training
