Newt is a German Shepherd x Husky. His dad was a purebred GSD stud dog and his mum was a GSD Husky cross. I got him at around 3 months old but met him at 8 weeks old with mum and littermates. I also met mums sire.
Newt is such a sweet affectionate boy. He loves cuddles on the sofa but will be just as happy going out on a walk and adventures.
Newt knows commands suck as sit, bed, and paw. He is also currently being trained to lay down and wait but is struggling a little with these. It helps that he is very food motivated. The only issue with Newt is that because of his extreme food motivation he has developed a bad habit of kitchen counter surfing and steals food that has been left unsupervised within reach. He will also go for the kitchen bin if he finds its easy to access.
Other than this bad habit, which is mostly due to boredom, he is a really great dog. Hes toilet trainwd and tends to sleep on the sofa of a night. He loves his walks but does tend to pull at the start due to the excitement. He loves going out however is a bit wary of strange men but this doesnt affect him a lot. Newt is good with other dogs as he has been raised with another dog in the home. He has been brought up in a busy family home with people coming in and out. He loves children as we have a 2yr old.
He will come with all his stuff; lead, harness, food, and treats as well as his toys.
