Description

Meet Tyson – a Gentle Soul Looking for His Forever Home Tyson is a gorgeous 8-year-old Staffy x Lurcher with the sweetest nature. At this stage in his life, his idea of heaven is a cosy sofa where he can curl up and snooze 😓 He loves people and will happily follow you around the house just to see what you’re up to. In the home he is calm, affectionate and very easy to live with. • Training & Manners: Tyson is crate-trained and settles well when left. He knows lots of commands (sit, wait, lie down, paw, bed, out and more) and is truly a pleasure indoors. • Out & About: He enjoys his walks (as long as it’s not raining!) and walks loosely on the lead. He can get pull when he sees other dogs and will pull towards them, so he’ll benefit from continued training here. For peace of mind we do use a muzzle on walks, which he wears happily. • Other Dogs: Tyson lived with a young cocker spaniel for a couple of weeks and they got on brilliantly, always playing together. He has also walked alongside other dogs (including greyhounds) and, once past the initial pulling, was fine. We don’t know much about Tyson’s past as he came to us as a rescue just six weeks ago, but he has blossomed since being here and is in much better condition now. He’s chipped, neutered, and recently had a full vet check (August 2025). At home Tyson is fed a raw/home-cooked diet which he thrives on. I’m happy to share recipes and tips if you’d like to continue this. He will come with everything he needs — his crate, cosy beds and blankets, toys, food, supplements, and treats. We aren’t asking for much, just a small fee to cover the cost of his crate and supplies. The most important thing is finding him a loving forever home where he’ll be truly cherished. You’re more than welcome to come and meet Tyson, spend some time with him, or take him for a walk. He settled in with us instantly and I’m sure he’ll do the same in his new home.
