5 month old, healthy and thriving adorable Testudo Hermanni (Herman tortoise) looking for a loving forever home. Fully licensed with Article 10 certificate (CITES) registered with DEFRA ensuring compliancy with endangered species regulations.
Sex of tortoise not guaranteed although was incubated at temperature likely to produce female tortoise.
Tortoises have wonderful individual personalities and make great pets. Although, it is not advisable to leave tortoises unsupervised with young children or dogs due to risk of injury to the tortoise. Very easy to care for but for the first 3-4 years of their young lives within captivity, it is advised they are homed within a suitable indoor enclosure such as a tortoise table which has suitable heating, UVB lighting and substrates that meet young tortoise needs.
Tortoises thrive on a diet rich in weeds and flowers. Owners will be advised on nutritional needs to ensure a happy, healthy and thriving pet.
Mum and dad are 10 year old tortoises and live within a secure outside enclosure with heat and light since 4 years old. They are currently hibernating but there are available pictures and videos of them.
