The kindest boy for even the littlest of children to groom, plait, bath, pick out feet, climb all over and generally just adore!! He is a very unflappable chap.
Hacking - Sam Hacks out past farm machinery,traffic, other animal’s etc he is happy to go alone or in company, loves going in the water for a paddle! We take him regularly on roads and down the bridle paths! He will also ride and lead.
School work - Sam has been in our small family riding school for round a year and a half, his role with us has predominantly been a lead rein pony,
where he will happily walk, trot, canter, games, obstacle courses, pole work and very small jumps (he is not one of life’s talented jumpers! Although he tries! He does all this in a mannerly fashion next to his leader and could not care less about how wobberly or unbalanced a rider is.
Previous to us owning him, Sam had been a driving pony therefore he does not really yet understand the point of going around the arena in circles when he is not with a leader, and this is not something he particularly enjoys ethier, therefore I would most like him to go to a hacking or driving home (hacks fine on and off leadrein)
or as a lead rein pony if to be used for schooling.
He would also make a fantastic therapy pony and has had children with a range of special needs groom & ride him. Could also potentially show or do a trekking centre job!
Sam is a safe pony and does not buck, rear, bolt, he has clean limbs and has always been fit and healthy, he is up to date with teeth, back, vaccinations and recently passed the vetting for our riding school inspection. Looking for a five star home for a very loved pony, only for sale as sadly we are downsizing due to a lack of grazing with all this wet weather.
