Description
Ebony, lovingly called Bonnie, is one of those dogs who doesn’t ask for much — yet deserves everything.
Born around March 2023, she is still very young, but her eyes already tell a story of gentleness, vulnerability and quiet longing.
Ebony was rescued from a killing shelter and brought to safety, where she could finally breathe again. What immediately stands out about her is her soft, submissive nature. She is incredibly sweet, sensitive and affectionate — a dog who seeks closeness, reassurance and warmth.
Bonnie is not a dog who pushes herself forward.
She is not the loudest, not the boldest, not the first in line.
She waits… and hopes.
And when you give her attention, even the smallest gesture of kindness makes her shine. She is so easily pleased, so grateful for affection, and so deeply in need of someone who will truly be there for her.
✨ Personality:
Ebony has a very tender and gentle character. She is loving, soft-hearted and naturally submissive, making her a wonderful companion for calm, kind people.
She is:
Sweet, gentle and emotionally sensitive
Affectionate and people-oriented
Quiet, soft and never demanding
Bonnie truly blossoms with affection. She doesn’t need much — just love, patience and someone who understands how fragile and precious her heart is.
📏 Size:
Ebony is a compact medium-sized girl, with an estimated shoulder height of approximately 42–45 cm.
Exact measurements can of course be taken if there is interest.
🐾 Appearance & possible mix:
Ebony is absolutely beautiful. She has a sleek black coat with a striking white chest marking, a graceful build and the most soulful, gentle eyes.
Based on her appearance, she is thought to possibly be a Labrador × Shepherd–type mix. As with most rescue dogs, this is an educated guess — but her look, structure and expression fit this combination beautifully.
🌳 What kind of home is Ebony looking for?:
Ebony longs for a loving, emotionally warm home. A home where people are present, gentle and attentive. She needs adopters who can meet her tenderness with tenderness, and who understand that love and reassurance mean everything to her.
A secure garden would be lovely, but what matters most is connection — people who will show her she is safe, wanted and cherished.
Ebony has waited long enough.
She wants nothing more than to belong.
💫 Meaning of her name:
Ebony reflects her beautiful dark coat, while her nickname Bonnie perfectly captures who she truly is — sweet, gentle and beautiful inside and out.
