I am selling three of my adult breeding Indian Star Tortoises - two egg laying females and a male. I have owned them for a good number of years.
To go individually or as a group, please read on.
The brighter coloured of the two females (Buna, right hand side of main photo) was bred by myself in 2016 and laid clutches for the first time in 2024, and has laid for me again in 2025.
The older female (Lizzie, left of main photo) has been with me since 2002 and lays 4 or 5 small clutches of large eggs each year.
Both in excellent health, active with hearty appetites.
The male (Little Vinnie) in the centre of the main photo, and the three photos (just before the last one of eggs hatching) is 10 years old and weighs 1685g and is 17.5cm long.
I am slimming down my tortoise groups this year which is the only reason they are available.
2016 female (Buna) weighs 1889g and is 21.4cm long SCL (as of 11.7.2025)
The older female (Lizzie) has a really smooth shell and weighs 2449g and 23.2cm SCL (as of 11.7.2025)
All are microchipped and come with the correct Article 10 certificate as required by law.
These are mainly indoor tortoises and must be kept warm and active all year round.
Asking price £1495 for Buna and £1995 for Lizzie. £750 for my male Little Vinnie. Last photo is of the first of Lizzie's babies hatching this year on August 10th 2025. This baby/eggs is not included in the price! Serious enquiries only.
