We have extremely sad circumstances here & I'm currently fostering the lovely Misha 🥺
Mishas home was sadly effected by an explosion & everyone living within the estates have had to be evicted for safety reasons & unfortunately the properties won't be habitable for quite awhile.
Mishas owner has been given accommodation but unfortunately they have a strict no dogs allowed policy.
Misha is in desperate need of a loving home but cannot be housed with other dogs - she is fine with my dogs as she is used to being in my home & around my boarding dogs but for safety reasons she is kept seperate with my young labrador who she has really gelled with 🏡
She is a 8.5 year old akita
Extremely low maintenance (apart from the hair)
Super chilled
Doesn't bark but maybe the odd occasion
Fine to be left alone
House trained
Causes no damage at all
Not anxious
Been fine with children 9+ from my experience with her
She is honestly the perfect dog apart from not being the best with other dogs, she's never attacked or hurt but can be grumpy & I wouldn't want to let anyone take the risk.
For anyone that's seriously interested, there would be a small rehoming fee and you would have to meet her a few times & take her out so I know you're the perfect fit for her, I'd hand on heart keep her but I already have 3 dogs & it wouldn't be manageable along with my business & personal life.
