Description
If you’re after a dog with playfulness and personality, allow us to introduce Rex – a wriggly, cuddly, full-of-beans terrier with a zest for life and a serious passion for fun.
Rex is the kind of dog who dives headfirst into everything he does – from playtime to cuddle time. He’s super affectionate with his carers and has no concept of personal space (lap dog? Absolutely. Whether you invited him or not). His happy place is right next to you, snuggled up after a day of adventures.
With endless energy and a mischievous glint in his eye, Rex is your typical terrier – smart, playful, and always keeping you on your toes. He’s got a nose like a detective and a serious talent for scentwork, so games that keep his brain busy will go down a treat. And while he’s great company, he’ll need a very secure garden – this lad has cleared a 6ft fence before!
He’d prefer a pet-free home – no dogs, and definitely no cats or small animals due to his prey drive. Rex can be overenthusiastic when meeting new people (okay, he might launch himself at them in pure joy), but there’s no malice – just too many feelings and not enough self-control.
He’s been okay being left in a home in the past, but is finding kennel life pretty stressful and really doesn’t like being left alone here. He’ll need some patience and support to help him settle and feel secure again in a home environment.
Rex is looking for a terrier-savvy, fun-loving family (with children aged 14+) who can embrace his quirks, help him work on his manners, and give him the love, guidance, and endless playtime he craves. In return, you’ll get a hilarious, loving, and utterly unforgettable companion.
