Rehoming as I am going to university, not due to any behavioural or health issues.
Please meet Ozzy and Nubo! Ozzy, the beige chinchilla, is quite shy but the sweetest angel. Nubo is much more adventurous and social, but also a bit more cheeky. They are gorgeous pets, but are not the most "cuddly". They absolutely let me pet them and say hello, take treats from me, or climb all over me, but they don't love to be held, so they might not be the best for families with small children. They have never bit me, but they do love to test out what's edible. As such, please be careful with plastic, as chinchillas cannot digest this, but Nubo disagrees.
They eat Science Selective chinchilla pellets and need hay as well as many toys that they can chew.
They do have a cage, it is 160cmx64cmx92cm which suits them, however one lock is missing one screw, and the flooring of the cage is not in the best shape, so replacing this would be ideal. They have a travel carrier, glass water bottles and food bowls. They will need a well-ventilated area and someone willing to give a lot of love and attention to them.
They may need some patience as they are very used to me and so the adjustment will be a big change but they are very loving boys!
