Marcel is a British shorthair and a loveable cat in his own 14-year-old way. (Please note his birthday is 30/07/2011 but I couldn't change the year on the form).
He comes for strokes and games and food but otherwise happily keeps himself to himself. Although he is playful, he doesn’t like the unpredictability that children can bring in their play; therefore he is more suited to a family with no children or older children. He is a house cat who has cautiously ventured out into our back garden with us on a few odd occasions. He is very healthy - the only thing we have had to take him to the vet for over the 8 years we have owned him is when his ears irritated him so much that he scratched them til they were raw. He now has prescribed drops which we only need to apply around once every 6 months (and which we are happy to give you).
We have owned Marcel for 8 years and have grown to love him. We are reluctant to let him go but have come into a time in our family when we’re not able to accommodate him any more.
We are looking for a new forever home for Marcel. We are happy to give him away to the right new owners but would ask that, if you are interested, you send us a little bit about yourself / yourselves and how you think that Marcel would fit into your home / family. If we find the right family for him to move on to, we are happy to include all his food, bowls, litter box, scratch pad, etc. We only ask for love, care and attention for him (and a few pics once in a while).
