Due to keeping daughters from this pen, I have some blue and Splash Araucana, large fowl, hens available. hatched last year, end of March, they have laid consistently from October 2024, and are still in lay now. But they are due for a moult soon.
I have kept Araucana for many years, and find that they are easy to look after, and quite a docile breed, not given to going broody very often. Although classed as Large, they are a medium sized bird, so don't eat a huge amount, yet lay a decent sized egg of an amazing colour, blue or blue/green. photos are of the actual birds that are available.
