Reeno is a kind and lovable pup. He is great with children (lives with a three year old), very loving and playful.
Sadly, our first dog (Greyhound) is quite a sensitive girl and is becoming increasingly anxious around Reeno, no fault of his own, as he is just being a playful puppy. However, we have had to come to the hard decision to see if we can find Reeno a better, more suitable home. Although they get on great (sleeping together, walking together) I have noticed a change in my greyhound and feel its best to give both these dogs a chance to grow up (and old) in a house perfect for them. He has been away with us on family get togethers and got on well with their dogs too.
His birthday is 11/01/2025 (the Pets4homes settings wouldn't allow me to put this date in) and has been with us since he was 9 weeks old. He has successfully learned stay, sit, and paw and has good recall. He is very much food driven, which is great for training. He will wait for his food to be given to him and will only eat on command. When there are other dogs or people that he does not know, he can be over-friendly and want to bound over to them to play, so the recall would want to be tightened there, but this will come with age and training. When told to sit and wait, he will do so but is still quite excitable.
He loves cuddles in the evening and a good play to use up his puppy energy. He is house trained, and will use puppy pads at night time.
He wasn't great at travelling in the car at first, but I have slowly built this up and he has become a lot better, this is quite common with pups.
He is fully vaccinated and given worming and tick medication every month. He has been health checked by the vet with no worries indicated there. He is also microchipped.
Priced to essentially the cover the price of his vaccinations and microchip and to ensure serious buyers only. Reeno deserves a loving home that can provide him with love, care and structure and he will grow into the most amazing dog.
