Vika’s puppy life was at the end of a chain. An elderly man kept her tethered, alone and forgotten, day after day. The world she saw was small — just the same few metres of earth beneath her paws. And yet, despite the hardship, Vika never lost her faith in people. When rescuers finally freed her, she didn’t run away — she leaned in for love, tail wagging, her heart already forgiving.

Vika is incredibly human-oriented — people are everything to her. She adores touch, attention, and gentle words, as though she’s making up for all the affection she was once denied. At home, she’s calm, polite, and peaceful; outside, she comes alive with joy. She loves her walks and little bursts of play but quickly returns to her soft, cuddly self.
With other dogs, Vika is kind and non-confrontational. She plays gently with friendly ones but can feel nervous around larger or dominant dogs who might bully her. She would thrive best as the only dog or with one calm, kind companion. Her tender nature makes her vulnerable in a pack — she doesn’t know how to stand up for herself.
