He is just 11months old and approx. 25-26 kg . He is neutered ,vaccinated and micro chipped
He is currently in foster in Lancashire and this is what his foster dad says about him.
Big beautiful Barry! Since he arrived with us, Barry has been nothing short of fabulous. He is a big lump of softness who loves nothing more than a good fuss. He has been extremely gentle with our children and nothing but friendly to our senior dog. He is happy to curl up with you on the sofa (he isn’t exactly sure how big he is so prepare to be squashed!) or at your feet if you are working from home. He enjoys a play in the garden and has been learning some basic commands. Although he is food/treat motivated, he is extremely gentle when taking even the smallest treat and has not been begging for food or bothering anyone while they are eating. That said, he has great reach, so if you leave anything out on the kitchen worktops you do it at your own risk! We have crated him overnight and he has been fine for 7-8 hours, but he will look for mischief if left alone in a room. Barry is going to be someone’s absolute best buddy. Our dog is very senior, managing pain and quite frail, as such, even though Barry is very friendly, his size means he is just too boisterous for her and she is feeling stressed and uncomfortable. We have to look out for her at this stage of her life, so unfortunately the timing is not right for Barry to join us despite him being such a good boy. Barry is starting to learn that the big wide world isn’t too bad, but is still fairly nervous on walks especially if there are loud noises such as buses, but he is getting braver and walks quite nicely on the lead.
