Rehoming our much-loved 7 month old dachshund – looking for the perfect forever home

With the heaviest of hearts, we are looking for a new home for our beautiful boy, Reggie. He is 7 months old and an absolute sweetheart. Reggie is brilliant with children, fantastic with other animals, playful, gentle and incredibly loving. He loves his walks, is great on the lead, and will happily snuggle up in bed with you at the end of the day.
He is house trained but, like any puppy, still has the odd moment where he needs reminding. He really is a perfect little dog , this is purely a heartbreaking decision we have had to make.
Reggie gets on very well with our other dachshund, but unfortunately our older boy has recently started snapping at him. As our first dachshund was here before Reggie, it would not be fair to disrupt his home, so sadly we have had to make this decision. On top of that, we are moving and downsizing, which means we can only keep one pet.
Reggie is up to date with all vaccinations, flea and tick treatment, and has regular vet check-ups. He is still a baby and has so much love to give.
For anyone unfamiliar with the breed, dachshunds are known for being very affectionate, loyal, and intelligent. They can sometimes be vocal, especially when left alone, which is something any experienced dachshund owner will already understand. Reggie would be best suited to someone who can give him plenty of time, company, and love.
We have tried everything to make keeping him possible, but sadly we cannot. We only want him going to the safest, most loving forever home where he will be truly cherished.
