Meet Merlin 🤍
Our beautiful boy Merlin will be 2 years old in August and this is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to write.
We’ve had Merlin since he was a tiny kitten and he is deeply loved by our whole family, especially our 4 children, who are absolutely heartbroken at the thought of letting him go. He is without question one of the most affectionate, intelligent and characterful cats we’ve ever known.
Merlin isn’t just a pet, he is part of the rhythm of our home. He joins me on the yoga mat each morning, knocks on doors when he wants to come in, gives kisses freely and curls up for endless snuggles. He is playful, curious, loving and endlessly entertaining. He truly blows us away every single day.
Sadly, over the past few months things have become increasingly difficult between Merlin and our older male cat. Despite trying everything we can to help the situation, Merlin continues trying to assert dominance and it has reached a point where our older cat no longer feels comfortable coming into the house.
With very heavy hearts, we are beginning to accept that Merlin may need a different environment where he can truly thrive.
We believe Merlin would be happiest as the only cat in the home, where he can be the centre of attention and receive the love and affection he absolutely deserves. He has not been around dogs much and does not seem keen on them.

• Full of personality and intelligence
This boy deserves nothing less than a safe, loving home where he will be adored.
We are in no rush and will only consider serious enquiries from people who understand what a special cat he is. We would love for potential new owners to come and meet Merlin first.
