Bimba is from Spain and was an ex hunting dog. The hunter gave her up but she has not been treated kindly. She has been in the UK since May 2025 in a loving foster home. She has good health and she tested negative to all Mediterannean diseases.
Bimba is currently in foster care in Kent and is now ready for her forever home. She is 4 years old (DOB 15/06/2021).
Bimba is 23.2kg (she has gained 3kg since her arrival in the UK), 58cm high, 98cm long, 38cm neck & 65cm chest & she is a Sabueso Hound.
Bimba is looking for a home with another dog and in a quiet environment where she can relax. She is currently in a busy area and she is not coping well with the traffic noise or people. She will crawl along if she sees someone. This girl has certainly suffered at the hands of someone. She loves her foster family and is comfortable around them but she is scared when people come to the home. She is not aggressive at all.
Bimba is a happy and active girl, she's strong and energetic when she is in a dog field in the countryside. She loves running and smelling around. A completely different girl.
Bimba is very sociable with other dogs, she's used to living in a big pack. She needs a family who will have plenty of time and patience for her to come on at her own speed. Someone who is around home a lot and that crucial doggy friend to live with to show her life is not too scary.
Please message if you are interested with information about your family, ages of everyone in the home, existing pets & work hours. All enquiries will be looked at. We only rehome to England, Wales & Scotland.
Please note: We are looking for a secure garden with fencing or walls to a minimum of 5ft. We also need the dogs to be kept on a lead, long lunge lead or for people to use enclosed fields for off lead exercise as these dogs are scent hounds & have hunting backgrounds. We do not rehome with children under 8 years old.
Full rescue back up is provided.
Her fees cover everything to prepare and bring her to foster in the UK. We need to recoup these to bring another foster dog.
