Meet Fog and Cow - young female fancy mice. They are now available for adoption through my rescue in Reading, Berkshire.
Fog (grey) has come from a difficult place where she was bullied by her cage mates, resulting in a big loss of hair over her nose and face. She has been with me a few weeks now and after close monitoring, I am pleased to say this doesn’t cause her any issues and is starting to regain some fuzz! She is such a little sweetie and very tiny, but despite her looks she is a happy little girl.
Cow (black & white) was paired with Fog as she was smaller than her sisters and was also being picked on due to her size. Luckily she was separated and no damage was done, as she is very happy with her new friend Fog. She is slightly more nervous but once she’s out the cage she is also brilliant to handle and very inquisitive.
These girls will be looking for a home together where they can stay as a pair. Ideally an experienced home that can continue to monitor their health while they settle in. They will need a setup meeting the minimum requirements of 80x50cm, that has plenty of enrichment and clutter to help them feel safe and secure. They are currently living in a hamster heaven cage, which can be provided with them at an extra cost.
