Koby is almost a year old bouncing border collie. He’s the most beautiful loving and affectionate boy you will meet. We rescued Koby back in April, love and tears have gone into making him into the boy he’s became. He used to be so scared of every flinch, of his crate, he was super skinny and had no basic training.
He has basic training, great recall, amazing off lead, walks good on lead (slightly pulls but rectified really quickly)
Amazing with all dogs, loves a ball, is toilet trained, crate trained, amazing with kids (we have 2)
Unfortunately on our behalf, having 2 kids so young (2 and 9 months) the commitment has been else where and I’ve not been able to invest nearly as much time into kobys training as I did at the beginning. He needs stimulation all day other wise he will dig up the garden, pull the bins down and eat everything in site🙈 jump up on counters, and the occasional nappy is chewed if your not quick!
He goes out with a dog walker 1-2 times a week and loves the freedom of running with the other dogs, and he gets 2x walks a day, is fed wet and dry food mixed.
He loves a banana and a sip of your tea. He doesn’t know personal space and loves to cuddle up on the sofa or in bed!
We really need him to go to someone who is willing to put 100% into his training, spend the time with him and love him just as much as we do.
We are heartbroken writing this and didn’t ever want to be in this position. We will not let him go to just anyone. Our oldest is so attached to him and it breaks my heart knowing I’ve got to seperate them!
He is okay in the car once he’s in, but he does not like jumping in you’ll have to lift him in, long journeys can make him car sick.
