Nevaeh is seeking a forever home.
Nevaeh has just turned 1 years old and is a Shepsky breed. In her short life she started out in a top floor flat stuck in a crate with no training and never had even been walked. My best friend rescued her but unexpectedly passed away days after. I have then taken her on and we named her Nevaeh for the meaning of heaven spelt backwards. In the 5 months we have had her we have done basic training with her she knows basic commands like sit, paw, lay, wait. She loves her walks and is training to not pull which she is mostly there but she gets so excited at the start she also starting to learn heel. We took her on as no one else could with the plan to find her an amazing home. We instantly fell in love and decided to work on basic training and to see how we got on. She has gone from a scared dog to the funniest, loving happy dog. She loves to give you her paw and for you to stroke it and does the funniest head tilts when you’re talking to her. Unfourtantly our dogs are finding it hard living with her as she is a bigger and more energy dog which is leading them to snap and it’s not fair on them or her. We are devastated and it’s been a heartbreaking and hard decision but we need to do what’s best for her.
She needs someone who is experienced in her breed or similar eg husky or German Shepard. Can give her long walks to help her high energy and also understand she won’t be able to be left for long periods of time. She does like a crate especially at bedtime I think she feels safe.
She is good around children and other dogs. She loves meeting dogs on walks.
We have given her all vaccinations so is up to date with them, she’s on monthly flea and worming tablets and has had vet check ups to make sure she’s in good health. She’s also getting really good with us cutting her nails and brushing.
