Aki is only about 5-6 months old and will be a medium sized dog. He can live with other dogs, but would be best with children 10 years plus.
Aki is currently in a foster home and so we are learning a lot about him. He is adjusting well to living in a multi-dog household where there are often visitors during the week.
This gorgeous boy is a very typical puppy! He is currently a bit mouthy and likes to use his mouth to explore the world, as well as launching himself between your legs for a bit of play interaction with you!
He is brilliant, but he'll need someone to help him focus his attention and offer him guidance as he grows into the beautiful dog he is bound to become. It's for this reason that we'd rather not put him in a home with young children.
Aki is crate trained, and sleeps there throughout the night at present. He is learning to be clean in the house - he's never lived in a house before so he's doing very well! He also eats well with other dogs and shows no signs of guarding.
Another dog called Jenny (black dog in the photos), has become a firm friend of his in his foster home. She is a super girl who is house-trained and hasn't put a paw wrong as yet... she is also available for adoption. Our secret hope is that they may find a home together, but we'd rather they found homes apart than no home at all.
Aki has been described by his foster mum as a "proper cutie." We're sure he'll make a wonderful, playful and fun companion for his adopter/s.
